Further exploration into my materials and the limitations of the paper used.

I have only been doing wet on wet painting the past few months and have really enjoy the time it allows for my initial pass to breathe.

The paper is Saunders Waterford 140lb; a new standard for my work.

With the paper prepped, I planned out a loose mask composition with some paper towel. This allowed me to play around the exposed areas with spontaneity and reveal hidden gems where the pigment saturated the absorbent masking.

After completing this painting, I was curious how the other paper brands I have used would hold up to this wet on wet technique.

PlayTM II can be elevated if framed "floating in matte" with Museum quality glass.
