Playing with the loose and washed out qualities of the material, I found a rhythm that allowed my energy to flow into this dreamy image.
Snakes and hamsters started to appear in my process work.
The snake leads an organic path for my brush to follow; contorted, twisting, intertwining as the environment bleeds through the movement.
My paper is constantly rotating as I paint.
Some pieces can be viewed either portrait or landscape, depending on the preference of the viewer.
Beatsy would look great framed "floating in matte" with Museum quality glass to preserve the watercolours.
